Geocaching
| Geocaching is a relatively new, quickly growing outdoor activity in which a global positioning sensor (GPS) is used in locating "treasure". The coordinates of the location are given on a website pertaining to that particular cache. The cachers seeking it will get these coordinates from the website and using their handheld GPS, attempt to locate the cache. Though the value of the object(s) recovered is seldom monetary in nature, it has symbolic value. The cache usually consists of at least a waterproof container, a log book and pencils or pens for geocachers to record their exploits in finding the cache. The logbook must remain with the cache, at its hidden site, even after it has been found many times. | |||||

Here's the book written and published for my brother-in-law. If it isn't, then why is his name in the title? This book will explain all about Geocaching and the fun you'll have. | ||||
| As long as you're on this planet, this little gadget will tell you exactly where you are on it, within a meter or two! Those in the know on these things also tell me that this is one of the best and the price is right. Owners of this GPS give it a 4 out of 5 star review. |
