You're listening to Jessica, performed by the Allman Brothers Band of Macon, Georgia. Dickey Betts had the position of lead guitarist thrust upon him with the untimely death of Duane Allman in 1971. A year later, the band lost Berry Oakley, bass player. The phenomenal little band from Macon had made a big name for itself and was experiencing down times. This song was composed by Dickey Betts and named for his daughter - his beloved little Jessica.

Dedication: The little beagle you see in the scrolling marquee above is provided by Animation Library and dedicated to Tanna. She knows who she is, but she doesn't know the important role she played in my life. Thanks, Tanna, this pup's for you! - Wilson Jay
