SAN ANTONIO

The Alamo

In addition to being one of the most historic places in the US, San Antonio is a very pretty place with many, many attractions. There are the obvious ones, such as the Alamo, where approximately 185 courageous people lost their lives in a revolt against their government. Today, the Riverwalk, located downtown and in the area of the Alamo, is a bustling place. Sidewalk cafes line the banks of the San Antonio River. Barges take visitors on river cruises around the area while horse-drawn carriages take visitors on street tours of the downtown area. There is a Ripley’s Believe it or Not located across the street from the Alamo. There is also a very interesting wax museum located there.

This city has so much to offer the visitor that it would be quite probable that any list of its attractions would be missing something! If you’re visiting San Antonio for the first time, I’ll just bet it won’t be your last! You are going to love San Antonio!
